Salman Khan to launch theatre chain ‘Salman Talkies’ soon!

After his clothing label named ‘Being Human’, Salman Khan is now set to come up with a chain of theatres named after himself. Initially, six single screen theatres from Maharashtra have been chosen. Here, tickets will be available at a hugely subsidised price and screenings will be free for children.

“He will be lending his name to a theatre chain to promote tax-free viewing. As of now, six single screens across Maharashtra have been roped in and more locations are being explored. Tickets for films at his theatres will be available at heavily subsidised rates and free for children. Salman will be launching each screen himself,” a source told a popular publication.

Salman Talkies is expected to kickstart its journey with Karan Johar’s ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’ and Ajay Devgn’s ‘Shivaay’ this Diwali and might expand itself to Uttar Pradesh by early next year.
