Salman Khan on Blackbuck Poaching case and Jodhpur court

Few days back, Bollywood superstar Salman Khan was acquitted from the charges of his Arms Act Case, but it was reported that Jodhpur Court has now summoned the actor for the Blackbuck poaching case. He has been told to record his statement along with his co-stars Saif Ali Khan, Sonali Bendre and Tabu. This case was lodged against them while shooting for director Sooraj Barjatya’s film ‘Hum Saath Saath Hai’ where Salman and his co-actors apparently shot a Blackbuck, an endangered species, while they went for hunting in Kankani village.

According to a report in a leading daily, Salman has reached the Jodhpur court to record his statement in this 19-year-old case. He, along with Saif Ali Khan, Sonali Bendre, Neelam Kothari and Tabu had reached Jodhpur on Thursday evening. The court had earlier asked all of them to appear on January 25 which was later postponed due to the security situation ahead of Republic Day.
