Salman Khan to donate ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ profits to farmers

Kabir Khan directorial and Salman Khan starrer ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ has hit the right notes at the Box Office. The deadly combination of the director and the actor has come up winning in their second collaboration too. Now the two have decided to do something for the common populace. Yes Salman Khan and Kabir Khan have decided to donate the profits of ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ to the farmers.

Recently Kabir Khan along with Salman Khan’s sister Alvira Khan and BJP’s Shaina NC met Maharashtra revenue minister Eknath Khadse to invite “the political class” to watch ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’.

Shaina NC said, “‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ is a cross-border human story. Kabir has directed the film which stars Salman and Kareena Kapoor. The message is that communal violence can be resolved. Therefore the producers of ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’, Salman Khan and Rockline Venkatesh wish to donate money from the profits of the film to farmers. This donation may come as a relief to the debt-ridden farmers who are committing suicide each day after failing to receive financial aid from the government.”

Salman Khan’s Bajrangi Bhaijaan is running to packed houses and has already crossed the 100 crores mark.
