Salman Khan to meet Chand Nawab

Bollywood filmmaker Kabir Khan’s recent release ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ is reaping at box office all around the globe. The movie stars Salman Khan, Kareena Kapoor, Harshaali Malhotra and Nawazuddin Siddiqui in pivotal roles.

Nawazuddin is depicting the role of a Pakistani scribe, and his character is based on a very famous Pakistani journalist Chand Nawab. Kabir Khan’s film has made the scribe quite popular, now it seems that Salman Khan too wants to meet the journo in person.

Sources said, Salman Khan who watched the hilarious scene of Chand Nawab in the film has expressed a desire to meet him. The Khan is making necessary arrangements to meet the scribe, as he wants to interact with him on personal level.

Chand’s video had been a sensation online, he said, “No matter how grateful I am it will still be less. I am thankful to my friends that this film has given me fame. I owe it all to the love I received from Pakistanis. At first I was worried because I felt my career would be ruined, but my friends and family members told me to have patience and assured me that one day I will attain success.”

Kabir Khan lauded the reporter said, “He’s (Chand) now a big hero back home. I’m thrilled about that. From the video, I thought he’s very endearing and cute, and he is. He thought it was an example of failure, a bad PTC and today one of the biggest Hindi films has based a character on him and it’s such a validation.”
