Salman, who is busy promoting his upcoming sports drama ‘Sultan’, said that he wanted this controversy to last long so that people would come to know what Olympics exactly is. He said, “I just wanted this one controversy to last long. I wanted this controversy to last so long that everyone would have known what Olympics is all about. Unfortunately, it got squashed very fast. So when Sachin who plays cricket and A R Rahman who plays music, when they became the goodwill ambassadors, no one created any controversies. This is really disheartening. Our generation knew what Olympics was at that point of time because we had that logo of Olympics on all our brown books, but today they don’t know.”

Further he stated, “A lot of people said that I shouldn’t be the ambassador because I have court cases. So given that thought that because I have court cases, I shouldn’t be the ambassador to Olympics why?  I haven’t been karrared (accused ) guilty yet. So there’s Olympics and there’s country, so I think country is more important. So all those people who have got court cases against them so even they should have gotten out of their portfolios.”

Okay then!

Talking about his ‘Sultan’ wherein he is going to play the role of a wrestler, the film will release on Eid.
