Superstar Salman Khan and controversies go hand-in-hand. As many would know, the actor had given a statement in the favour of Pakistani artistes, saying that ‘they are artists, not terrorists’ after the ban imposed on them. But this statement was not well received by many people and political parties as well. Recently, it has been reported that Salman’s effigy has been burnt at Khatoli town in Muzaffarnagar which is in Uttar Pradesh.
This protest was carried out by the supporters of BJP MLA Sangeet Som. Plus, the protest wasn’t enough, the workers of Sangeet Som have also threatened to boycott Salman’s movies.
A few days ago, Salman’s father and veteran scriptwriter Salim Khan had also lashed out in a rigorous and sarcastic manner with a series of tweets supporting the views of the ‘Dabangg’ star.
