Salman Khan’s ‘Sultan’ to be dubbed in Tamil and Telugu

Salman Khan is hitting the headlines with his upcoming film Sultan. The Ali Abbas Zafar directorial has the ‘Dabangg’ Khan portraying the role of a wrestler. He will be seen romancing Bollywood beauty Anushka Sharma in the YRF production. The movie is very close to his heart as he has worked hard to get the right look of a wrestler by not only adding bulk but also working out with different techniques under the guidance of his trainers.

There is some more good news for Salman Khan fans. ‘Sultan’ is all set to release in the South as it is being dubbed in Tamil and Telugu to capture the South market.

Sources said, “The decision to dub the film in Tamil and Telugu is due to Salman’s extended popularity in the Southern states. So far Salman was the Sultan of the North. But ‘Prem Ratan Dhan Payo’ changed that. The dubbed South version of the film performed very well in spite of competition from very big Tamil and Telugu films. ‘Sultan’ will be released like any big Tamil or Telugu film.”

Well, this news has sent many South production houses into a tizzy. They will now be releasing many of their Tamil and Telugu films in July.
