Sanjay Dutt stunned to see Ranbir Kapoor’s striking resemblance to him, from his biopic

Last week, some pictures of Ranbir Kapoor were leaked from the sets, while he was shooting for Sanjay Dutt’s biopic. The actor stunned everyone with his brilliant transformation, as he looked exactly like Sanjay Dutt. Be it the fans, or Bollywood, ever single person was in awe of this look donned by Ranbir, and praised him for the dedication. And now, we have the reaction of Sanjay Dutt himself, who is shocked to see how much Ranbir is resembling him on screen.

Recently, Sanjay Dutt’s spokesperson revealed to a leading daily that the actor saw the pictures that went viral on the internet and couldn’t keep his eyes off them. He said, “The resemblance is uncanny and Sanjay couldn’t stop staring at them.” [sic]

A source close to the actor has quoted to a leading daily saying, “Sanjay got to know from someone how Ranbir’s look was circulated on various websites and everyone loved it. That’s when the actor learnt about the photos. On seeing them, he was stunned at the similarities that filmmaker Raju Hirani and Ranbir Kapoor had worked upon. He has absolutely loved it.” [sic]

There is no doubt that Ranbir has captured the nuances of Sanjay, as far as physical attributes are concerned. Let us just wait for the movie to see how well he has acted as Sanju baba. No wonder Sanjay Dutt was stumped.

Directed by Rajkumar Hirani, the biopic also features Paresh Rawal as late Sunil Dutt and Dia Mirza as Dutt’s wife Maanayata. Manisha Koirala will be essaying the role of late actress and Sanjay Dutt’s mother, Nargis.

Apart from them, it also stars Sonam Kapoor, Vicky Kaushal and Anushka Sharma (in a cameo appearance) playing pivotal parts in it.
