Shah Rukh Khan’s ‘Raees‘, which was all set to release this Eid alongside Salman Khan starrer ‘Sultan,’ had it release date postponed to next year. The makers had then come up with the release of the film on Independence week next year.
While Hrithik Roshan starrer ‘Kaabil’ too had its release date kept in the same week, Shah Rukh Khan recently confirmed how there probably might be no clash. He said, “I knew Hrithik’s film was coming but he had not started the film then. We talked to Hrithik and Riteish (Sidhwani), Farhan (Akhtar) are meeting him and Rakeshji (Roshan) on 11th or 12th this month. Then they will finalise on what’s to be done.” It was then said that SRK’s ‘Raees’ will most probably have a solo release next year.
But the same has been cleared by ‘Kaabil’ director Sanjay Gupta. The filmmaker took to his Twitter account and posted, “Dear All KAABIL releases on Jan 26, 2017. Absolutely no change in date. Hope this clears all unnecessary rumours. Warm regards.”
Well, it will sure be interesting to see Shah Rukh and Hrithik battle it out at the box-office.
