Shah Rukh Khan and Ranbir Kapoor are not teaming up again for a Karan Johar film

Karan Johar’s ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’ which released last year, saw Shah Rukh Khan in a cameo. But, that one scene of SRK with Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Ranbir Kapoor became the highlight and SRK’s dialogue of ‘iktarfa pyaar’ was an instant hit with the masses. It was the first time that we saw SRK and RK Junior together, even if for some minutes. But, their onscreen camaraderie was much talked about and rumours started spreading that Karan Johar has another movie which will see them teaming up again.

But, a source close to Dharma Productions has denied these rumours. Speaking with Pinkvilla, they said, “It’s a dream cast but unfortunately it’s not true. The rumours are baseless. Ranbir is doing only one film for Dharma as of now and that is Ayan Mukerji’s next.”

The Ayan Mukerji movie starring Ranbir Kapoor opposite Alia Bhatt is ‘Dragon’. Ranbir is currently busy with the Sanjay Dutt biopic and will start shooting for ‘Dragon’ post working on biopic.

On the other hand, SRK is busy with an Imtiaz Ali movie which stars Anushka Sharma opposite him.
