Shah Rukh Khan’s ‘Jab Harry Met Sejal’ gets preponed; averts clash with Akshay Kumar’s film

Yesterday, we were the first to break the news that the makers of Shah Rukh Khan and Anushka Sharma-starrer have finally locked a permanent title. After tentative titles like ‘The Ring’, ‘Rehnuma’ and ‘Raula’, this Imtiaz Ali-directorial is called ‘Jab Harry Met Sejal’. Post the official announcement from the lead stars, two new posters of this film were released which unveiled SRK and Anushka’s look.

Both Shah Rukh and Anushka took to Twitter to share these posters which carry a unique tag line saying, “What you seek is seeking you!” [sic] Anushka shared the first poster captioning, “What you seek… @iamsrk  @RedChilliesEnt.” [sic] (Also Read: Shah Rukh Khan says Aanand L Rai brings happiness on the sets of the film)

This was followed by SRK sharing the second one captioning, “…is seeking you! @AnushkaSharma  @RedChilliesEnt.” [sic] Both are seen having a blast in these posters and we are just loving to see them back together on big screen. Their chemistry definitely seems to be the highlight of the film, even though this is their third project together after ‘Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi’ and ‘Jab Tak Hai Jaan’.

Well, there’s another news in store for all you fans The clash between SRK and Akshay Kumar has been averted. Everyone would know that this film was set to clash with Akshay Kumar and Bhumi Pednekar-starrer ‘Toilet – Ek Prem Katha’. But, this is not going to happen now.

With the release of this first look, the makers have preponed the release date of ‘Jab Harry Met Sejal’ by a week. The film is now slated to release on August 4, 2017.

Whereas, Akshay Kumar and Bhumi Pednekar-starrer ‘Toilet – Ek Prem Katha’ will go ahead as per schedule and will hit the screens on August 11, 2017.
