Shah Rukh Khan’s ‘Raees’ and ‘Dear Zindagi’ have a scene in common. Did you notice?

The much anticipated trailer of Shah Rukh Khan and Mahira Khan starrer ‘Raees‘ was finally unveiled today. While the trailer is creating the right kind of noise, thanks to the presence of SRK and some great dialogue delivery, there’s something interesting in the trailer that just could not be missed.

There’s a scene in the trailer where you see SRK putting eye drops and trying to catch a glimpse of his lady love, Mahira Khan. Did it remind you of something? Okay, so a similar scene was there in SRK’s recently released flick ‘Dear Zindagi’ that starred him and Alia Bhatt in lead roles. However in ‘Dear Zindagi’, SRK’s character acted as a therapist to Alia Bhatt’s Kaira and they did not have a love angle. In ‘Raees’, SRK and Mahira Khan seem to be madly in love.

Now, we don’t know which movie took inspiration from the other because the shooting of ‘Raees’ was going on since two years and Gauri Shinde’s ‘Dear Zindagi’ was filmed this year itself. So, is it that King Khan borrowed this scene from ‘Raees’ for ‘Dear Zindagi’? Or is it that these are his staple eye drops which he thought of including in the movies as an impromptu segment? Whatever be the order, we loved Shah Rukh Khan in ‘Dear Zindagi’ and we are sure ‘Raees’ will be a massy entertainer.

‘Raees’, directed by Rahul Dholakia also stars Nawazuddin Siddiqui in the role of a police officer. The movie will be releasing on January 25, 2017.
