Shahid Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor Khan to share screen space?

Ex-lovers like Ranbir Kapoor-Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh-Anushka Sharma have broken the so-called norm of ex-lovers not featuring in films together ever again. The deep-in-love stars who could not look eye-to-eye after their dramatic break-up are now being professional enough to feature in films together leaving their personal grudges behind. Ex-lovers Shahid Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor Khan are the latest to join this league.

As we know, Shahid and Kareena’s love story had a tragic ending and since then we never saw them together. Forget on-screen, the two stars avoid each other so much that even off-screen it was difficult to spot the two at the same venue. But, bygones are bygones. Shahid and Kareena have finally decided to do a film together and that’s ‘Udta Punjab.’ But, much to their fans disappointment, there were reports which suggested that even though Shahid and Kareena are doing this film, they won’t be seen in any scene together. well, for all those who want to see them together here’s the news. A little birdie tells us that there is one scene in ‘Udta Punjab’ wherein we will see Shahid and Kareena in one single frame.

Reports suggest that the makers had to shot this scene separately as the couple is not comfortable with each other presence. The two shots, one featuring Shahid and other featuring Kareena, have been merged to make it look as if Shahid and Kareena have shot it together.

Well, too much of being uncomfortable scenes on the sets of ‘Udta Punjab’ it seems. The movie is directed by Abhishek Choubey and it also features Alia Bhatt in a pivotal role.
