Shahid Kapoor and Ranveer Singh all set to shoot together for a crucial scene of ‘Padmavati’

Sanjay Leela Bhansali has been shooting for ‘Padmavati’ with the actors individually. He has reportedly completed the solo sequences of Deepika Padukone, Shahid Kapoor and Ranveer Singh. While Deepika and Shahid shot together for a few days, Ranveer and Shahid are now all set to shoot together for a very crucial scene.

Well, it is said that in the scene there will be war of words between Shahid who plays Raja Rawal Ratan Singh and Ranveer who will be seen as Sultan Alauddin Khilji.

A unit member told Mid-Day, “Sanjay sir planned the shoot in such a way that individual scenes of all actors were shot first. These will be followed by portions that see them together. Although Deepika [Padukone, co-star] who plays Rani Padmavati, and Shahid, as her husband Raja Ratan Singh, have shot together before, Ranveer has shot solo scenes until now.”

Talking about the scene of Shahid and Ranveer, the source said, “There is latent animosity running through the scene. “A scene like this banks on the actors’ equation, and Shahid and Ranveer share a good one. As performers, they are different. Having them come face to face on set will be a delight to watch,” the source added.

‘Padmavati’ has been in news for shooting being stalled due to the protest against the film. But, thankfully the shooting of the film is now going on smoothly. The movie will be releasing on November 17, 2017.
