Shahid Kapoor gives it back to the people who are trolling him and Mira Rajput

Shahid Kapoor got married to Delhi-based girl Mira Rajput in the presence of their close relatives and friends, but it came as a shock to the actor when people started criticizing him for marrying a 21-year-old girl and destroying her career.

And soon after Mira got pregnant, the questions were raised that how can Mira deliver a child as she’s so young.

Even though Shahid chose not to speak about any of it and give importance to such things, he has finally come out in open about it.

In a recent interview, when asked about the same, he said, “I don’t give importance to people who try to get importance by criticizing those who are important. Just because she [Mira] got married early, doesn’t mean she doesn’t have an identity. Today, women do what they feel like doing. And, as men, we should respect that. Whether you are a working woman, housewife, young mother or a woman who chooses to have a child at a later stage in life, it’s your decision. Mira and I are really happy. Few weeks ago, the couple made an appearance in the talk show in ‘Koffee With Karan 5’ and fans were going gaga over their chemistry in the episode.

“I think people have loved Mira’s interview, and I was also there (laughs). I think what people enjoyed most was watching us as a couple. It was more about seeing me as a husband, and her as the person she is. All the things that people have been saying about her are things that I’ve known for over a year. She’s normal, she’s great, she’s real,” Shahid said.

About time, people leave them alone.
