Shahid Kapoor: Yes, I am going to be a father

The trailer of ‘Udta Punjab‘ was certainly awaited. And given the fact that Shahid Kapoor will be in an open interaction with the scribes at the trailer launch event, one question was a pretty obvious one.

Amidst all the questions being hurled at Shahid at the event, one hinted towards his wife Mira Rajput’s pregnancy. When asked how ready he is to embrace fatherhood, Shahid quipped, “Ghuma phirake kyu pooch rahe ho? Haan main baap banne wala hu. Kya kar lega tu?” (Why are you beating around the bush? Yes, I am going to be a father. What will you do?)

The soon-to-be father was all blushes and smiles while answering the questions about his impending fatherhood. While Alia Bhatt too couldn’t suppress her smile, even his co-star Kareena Kapoor Khan’s reaction to his answer was epic. Check it out in the video below…

Speculations about Mira’s pregnancy were rife from the time she made an appearance at Lakme Fashion Week, followed by a cryptic tweet by Masaba Gupta. But the way Shahid has confirmed it only adds on to the excitement.
