Sherlyn Chopra clarifies her statement on not indulging sex for money anymore

Sherlyn Chopra simply loves controversies. From her (over) bold avatars to her explosive statements, she has managed to grab limelight time and again. Recently, Sherlyn had made it to the headlines after she stated that she was not ready to indulge into sex for money anymore. We quite fell for her courage and honesty!

However, in a recent interview, she clarified what she really meant.

“During my initial days of modelling, I started dating men much older than my age who would pamper me silly with expensive gifts. It took me a while to understand that my need-based relationships lacked genuine care, concern, respect and love. After, a great deal of introspection, I realised that just because a person desires me does not necessarily mean that he values me. The intent behind my “confession” was to introduce the born-again Sherlyn to the world by finding closure to her past. Sadly, it was misconstrued by media.”, she said.

Apparently, a number of men used popular micro-blogging site Twitter to get in touch with Sherlyn and would approach her for intimacy; her Tweet stating she was not open for pleasure in exchange of money was an immediate reaction to them. However, her clarification indicates that she targeted her exes and not random people!
