Shocker – Asha Bhosle’s son Hemant passes away

Bollywood’s legendary singer Asha Bhosle recently lost her son Hemant Bhosle. Asha Tai’s son Hemant passed away on Saturday September 26 in Scotland. This is the second child that the singer has lost within a span of three years. Three years back she had lost daughter Varsha, who had committed suicide.

Hemant Bhosle, who was a music composer, succumbed to cancer after a long battle with the disease. Lata Mangeskhar’s 86th birthday celebrations were immediately called off as soon as the news of Hemant’s demise reached the Mangeshkar’s. Asha received the news as she was flying back to Mumbai from Singapore. She was there for a concert.

Everybody in the family is quite worried about Asha Tai, as they fear that she may not be able to bear the loss of her second child so soon after the first.

May Hemant’s soul rest and peace and God give strength to Asha Bhosle to bear the pain.
