After donning the hat of a musician in ‘Rock On 2’ and going all mushy in ‘OK Jaanu’, Shraddha Kapoor is all set to play a fierce role in her next film based on the life of Haseena Parkar. For those who don’t know Haseena Parkar, she was underworld don Dawood Ibrahim’s sister, and the one who managed his activities in Mumbai. She was called as the ‘Queen of Mumbai’ as she had a strong hold on the city. Shraddha will be essaying her character in the biopic directed by Apoorva Lakhia. Shraddha has begun shooting for the same and soon be getting into the skin of her character with the help of prosthetics.
As Shraddha will have to showcase a journey of Haseena spanning from age 17 to age 43, Shraddha will have to seek help of prosthetic to look old. A source revealed, “She will be wearing some very heavy jewellery, but as far as makeup is concerned, it will be minimal. The makers are trying to make her look as real as possible and at the same time not making it look overboard. She will also be using some prosthetic add-ons since the film shows her progressing from the age of 17 to 43.”

The film would be titled as ‘Haseena: The Queen of Mumbai’. It will also feature Shraddha’s brother Siddhanth Kapoor in the role of Dawood Ibrahim. He was last seen in ‘Shootout at Wadala’ wherein played the role of Gyancho.
