It’s time to see real-life siblings on the big screen together. While few weeks ago, we saw Huma Qureshi and Saqib Saleem together in ‘Dobaara’, the next film in which we will get to see real-life siblings is ‘Tubelight’ and then later in ‘Haseena Parkar’. Well, reportedly, Salman Khan had told the team of ‘Tubelight’ that he won’t be promoting the film without his brother Sohail Khan, and now Shraddha Kapoor is following in the footsteps of the actor.
The actress has also told the team of ‘Haseena Parkar’ that she won’t be promoting the movie without her brother Siddhant Kapoor. A source said, “Promote karna toh hai saath mein. Shraddha also insists that her brother Siddhanth gets top billing along with her in the credit titles. Her brother is still waiting for success. Though Shraddha plays the titular role in ‘Haseena Parkar’, she sees this film as her brother’s big chance to make it.”
“Shraddha will be accompanied by Siddhant at all the events promoting ‘Haseena Parkar’. Throughout the film, she was guiding his performance, staying on the sets even when he was shooting solo to offer support. She would rehearse their scenes together for hours and ensure that he gets enough opportunity to be effective on camera. The actress is determined to see her brother make it big with this film, even if she has to take the backseat,” added the source.
Directed by Apoorva Lakhia, ‘Haseena Parkar’ is slated to release on August 18, 2017.
