Soha Ali Khan laughs off rumours of trouble in marriage

Rumours of Soha Ali Khan and Kunal Kemmu’s marriage being in trouble recently made it to the headlines. It is raining break ups in Bollywood and we thought another couple was going to add to the list. However, both of them have come up denying the buzz. After Kunal who slammed the gossip mongers in style, it was Soha who laughed off rumours of marriage tiff.

“The rift rumours are laughable. It started with a shot in the dark piece and then just took on a life of its own from fighting to filing for divorce. Kunal has been putting off filing his nails for ten days now. Forget filing for a divorce!” she said to DNA.

Soha’s parents Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi and Sharmila Tagore have been together for more than four decades, before Pataudi took his last breathe. Being a daughter who has grown up witnessing a strong bond of marriage, her mother and father’s relationship certainly comes as an inspiration to Soha.

“I’ve always felt when you are committed in a relationship, you have to work through the difficult times. I’ve seen my parents in a successful solid marriage for 44 years.

“There is no perfect relationship,” she says. “You have to work around the dissatisfaction. I am sure even my parents had their problems. They were completely different personalities, but they must have worked on their marriage and made it work,” the actress said.

The two are visibly determined to keep their marriage alive. Feels great, because we have had too many B-Town couples heading for splitsville and don’t want another one to do the same!
