Soha Ali Khan set to turn producer with a biopic

Actress Soha Ali Khan and her actor husband Kunal Kemmu are soon to open a production house which will identify good content and back them. Soha’s maiden film as a producer is going to be a biopic.

“We will open our next production company. It’s called Renegate Films. We will be co producing films. We will co-produce films with others as we need people to back our creative ideas as we have wonderful ideas. The first film that we will be co-producing is a biopic. It is on a living legend. It won’t be a biopic on someone from acting or sports field,” she told a news agency.

However, Soha isn’t planning to act in films produced by her anytime soon. “I will not be acting in it. The idea is to open a production company to back our creative ideas. We did not open the company to create work for me or Kunal. The idea is to find great content,” she added.

The director and the cast for the biopic have not been finalised yet. We are sure something very interesting is on the pipeline!

Soha will be next seen in ’31st October’ with Vir Das, a film which deals with the aftermath of Prime Minister Indira Gandhi’s assassination.
