Because the audiences are aware of the suspense of ‘Ittefaq’, there has to be a twist in the remake. Sonakshi confirms, “The film’s story has been changed and modified. It’s about three characters and each one has a back story and a reason to be the murderer. It needs to be seen who actually does it.”
The movie will go on the floors in the month of January 2017. Speaking of the film, Sidharth says, “I am very excited to work with Sonakshi. But we aren’t paired opposite each other in the film. She’s not my romantic interest. There will be another girl in the film as well.”
The original ‘Ittefaq’ was a remake of a British film, ‘Signpost to Murder’ (1964), revolving around an artist, who is accused of murdering his wife. And the mystery that follows.
