Sonakshi Sinha states that she is NOT performing at the Justin Bieber concert

Yesterday morning, gossip mills were abuzz with the reports that actress Sonakshi Sinha is all set to perform with Canadian singer Justin Bieber in a concert in India. Well, her love for singing and music is evident from the songs she has sung till now. But, these reports left professional singers like Kailash Kher and the Armaan Malik upset. Kailash Kher expressed his displeasure over how in spite of being an actress and not a trained singer, Sonakshi is being given an opportunity to sing and perform while singers like him will go unnoticed. Post his statement, singer Armaan Malik too tweeted the same and this led to a Twitter war between Armaan Malik and Sonakshi Sinha. While Armaan opined that the stage and mic should be left for proper singers and actors should only act, Sona replied that this wasn’t the case when Armaan had approached her to sing a song in the past. But, Armaan denied meeting her at any such event with a song offer. She finally laughed it off by saying “God bless you”. Now, the actress has released an official statement clarifying the fact that she is NOT performing with Justin Bieber at any concert.

She tweeted, “Firstly, I am not performing at the Bieber concert. It was speculated because I was approached and carried forward by publications and portals even after I stated in various interviews that it’s not happening. Secondly, I am an actor who loves music, who loves to perform and who loves to sing. And if anyone has a problem with that, in the wise words of baba Bieber himself… they can go “love” themselves. Over and out.”
