Sonakshi Sinha: The intention was never to replicate what Sridevi ji did

The recently released ‘Force 2’ song, ‘O Janiya’ saw Sonakshi Sinha grooving to a few lines from the iconic ‘Kaante Nahin Kat Te’ track with a trendy twist.

Donning a glamorous avatar, Sonakshi looks stunning in the track, showcasing her sexy moves.

However, the actress clarifies that she never intended to replicate what Sridevi had done in the original song. Sonakshi shares, “The intention was never to replicate what Sriji has done. That is iconic and I truly believe no one even comes close to her! But the song is great and I love the fact that we have given it a modern twist by fusing it with EDM music which is the flavour of today!”
