Sonakshi Sinha turns Fashion Designer

Sonakshi Sinha debuted in Bollywood opposite Salman Khan in hit flick ‘Dabangg.’ The actress had sported a very desi look in it. But with her next projects she faced a lot of criticisms regarding her weight and not looking good in carrying the western outfits. But she received appreciation for her look in ‘Govinda’ song from ‘OMG: Oh My God’ which was designed by herself. Currently, she has been planning some more interesting stuff these days. Sonakshi Sinha is planning to open a fashion line of her own. Speaking about this the ‘Dabangg’ actress said, “I was studying fashion (in Shreemati Nathibai Damodar Thackersey Women’s University) at one point and always thought of joining a magazine or becoming a stylist. Born in a family full of film stars, I never felt like taking it (acting) up as a career. I was seeing it so closely; it was everyday life for me. I was never fascinated with cinema and wanted to explore other things. It is quite possible for me to launch a fashion line of my own. I have studied fashion, have the passion for it and would love to come up with a range of my own.”

If she manages to open this, she would be among many Bollywood celebrities who have been closely associated with fashion world with their clothing label. Salman Khan (Being Human), Madhuri Dixit (Madz), Hrithik Roshan (HRX) and Sonam and Rhea Kapoor (Rheson) are the names from Bollywood in this line.
