Sonam Kapoor on working in Rajkumar Hirani’s upcoming film: That you’ve to ask Raju sir

Actress Sonam Kapoor who is not diplomatic at all while talking about any topic, has this time chosen to remain mum on her forthcoming project. Since the past few days, there has been a strong buzz that Sonam Kapoor will also be a part of Rajkumar Hirani’s upcoming biopic on the life of Sanjay Dutt. But, the actress is silent on the matter and instead says that she would love to work with Hirani.

Speaking to a leading daily, Sonam said, “That you’ve to ask Raju sir. I can’t talk about any of my upcoming films till the director or producer speaks about it. However I would like to work with Raju sir (Hirani) in whatever capacity I can.”

She also spoke about people’s expectations from her to win the National Award for her performance in ‘Neerja’. Said Sonam, “It is very humbling that people expect me to get the National Award for ‘Neerja’ but honestly speaking, I will not be disappointed if I don’t get it. Because doing the film itself is very important to me.”

Sonam will be seen in Shashanka Ghosh’s ‘Veere Di Wedding’ that also stars Kareena Kapoor Khan, Swara Bhaskar and Shikha Talsania.
