Sonu Nigam speaks on intolerance following his Mid-Air Concert Controversy

The passengers of a recent Jet airways flight were in for a treat as the versatile singer Sonu Nigam carried out an impromptu concert mid-air. It was delightful to watch people enjoying themselves several feet above the ground. But, unfortunately, this act of Sonu Nigam has called for a trouble for the crew members of the flight. Apparently, five ar-hostesses of this flight have been suspended for allowing Sonu to carry out this spontaneous act.

Following this, Sonu has now come out in support of the suspended members. In a statement, he was quoted saying, “I have witnessed an elaborate fashion show in an aircraft. I have heard of small concerts happening in an aircraft. I have seen Pilots and Crew Members cracking humorous jokes to loosen up passengers in other countries, which is so cool. To suspend crew members for asking me to sing on the address system, when the seat belt signs were off, and no announcements were to be made, is nothing less than punishing someone for spreading happiness. This act of lack of Common Sense, according to me, is Real Intolerance.”

Okay! Talking about intolerance is full of risk as you never know who will lash out on you. We remember how the Khans have suffered for speaking their mind and commenting on intolerance leading to a nation-wide controversy. We just hope that you are spared of all of this Sonu!
