The Perfectionist of Bollywood who was busy shooting for his upcoming biopic in Punjab is back in the city. Yes, Aamir Khan who had recently injured his shoulder while filming a long action sequence for his picture, has been advised rest by the doctors. To recover the PK actor has returned to the comfort of his home in Mumbai.
Sources said, Aamir Khan who is depicting the role of Mahavir Phogat in the upcoming biopic, is settled in a village in Ludhiana to wrap up the schedule of his film there. His injury on the sets has sent a shock amongst his die-hard fans. The actor took to Twitter to comfort them by tweeting it was ‘not such a major injury’.
Sources said, “Aamir had been filming a long action sequence that required multiple takes from different angles. When he slumped during the final take, the unit thought he had pulled a muscle. He was in excruciating pain even after half an hour of rest and ice packs. He couldn’t even stand up. He was then rushed to the hospital where it was diagnosed that he had suffered a serious shoulder injury. The actor hadn’t used a body double for the particular scene. Wife Kiran Rao and son Azad were by his side in Ludhiana when Khan hurt himself. The actor is in Mumbai for a week, before he gets back to the wrestling pit.”
Dangal is to hit the screens on Christmas next year.
