July 14, 2017Â was supposed to witness a clash of the Titans with four Bollywood biggies hitting the theatres together. Sridevi’s ‘MOM,’ Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif’s film ‘Jagga Jasoos’, Saif Ali Khan starrer ‘Chef’ and Shraddha Kapoor’s ‘Haseena’ were to clash at the box office on this day.
However, the makers of ‘MOM’ have decided to release the film earlier. Sridevi’s film will now hit screens on July 7 and thus have a solo release.
The decision was reached after Tiger Shroff’s ‘Munna Michael’, which was slated to hit the theatres on July 7 earlier, got postponed to release on July 21.
The makers of ‘MOM’Â jumped on to the opportunity and announced their film’s release on July 7. The news was announced by trade analyst Taran Adarsh, as he tweeted, “Boney Kapoor and Zee Studios’ #Mom to now release on 7 July 2017… Stars Sridevi, Nawazuddin Siddiqui.”
‘Munna Michael’, on the other hand will now clash at the box office with Ayushmann Khurrana, Kriti Sanon and Rajkummar Rao starrer ‘Bareilly Ki Barfi’.
