‘Sarbjit’ actor Randeep Hooda recently collapsed on the sets of Salman Khan starrer ‘Sultan’. The movie, that is set for an Eid release, has everyone working overtime to wrap it much before the D-Day. The ‘Highway’ actor had been in severe pain since days, but he had been ignoring it to complete the shoot of the Ali Abbas Zafar directorial. He took a round of strong antibiotics and carried on with his work. However, when the pain became unbearable, Salman asked him to seek medical attention.
Randeep Hooda, who is playing the role of Salman Khan’s wrestling coach, was admitted to Fortis Hospital. After the preliminary check up, he was diagnosed with appendicitis. He is likely to go under the knife on April 18.
On the work front, Randeep is gearing for the release of ‘Sarbjit’ that is based on a true story. The trailer of the film has been much appreciated by viewers. The versatile actor has shocked one and all with his drastic weight loss for the film. He had shed 18 kg within 28 days.
Also lined up next is ‘Laal Rang’ where he plays a local Haryana goon, who runs an illegal blood racket in the state.
