Sunny Deol denies the reports of standing in elections

There were reports that Bollywood actor Sunny Deol will be joining BJP and will be standing for elections. However, the actor took to Twitter to clear the air about him joining politics.

He tweeted, “Not standing for any #Elections … for now busy with my son #KaranDeol’s launch film #PalPalDilKePaas.”

Sunny is currently hunting for an actress to star opposite his son Karan in the film ‘Pal Pal Dil Ke Paas’. The actor, who was last seen on the big screen in ‘Ghayal Once Again’, has films like ‘Poster Boys’ and ‘Bhaiyyaji Superhitt’ in his kitty.

‘Poster Boys’ also stars Bobby Deol and Shreyas Talpade, and it is the remake of Marathi film ‘Poshter Boyz’. ‘Bhaiyyaji Superhitt’ also stars Preity Zinta and Ameesha Patel in the lead roles. The film has been in the pipeline since a long time, but is yet to see the light of the day. It will mark the comeback of Preity Zinta on the big screen after three years.
