Sunny Leone clears the air on being offered Rs 4 crore for a ‘Laila Main Laila’ performance

Rumours were floating around that Bollywood’s new Laila aka actress Sunny Leone has been approached to perform on the New Year’s eve on her current chartbuster track ‘Laila Main Laila’, and that she has been offered a whopping amount of Rs 4 crore for this. However, when asked, Sunny denied all such claims.

Sunny has given a statement to an agency saying, “I wish that was true. I will be the happiest person on the planet if I was paid Rs 4 crore for my song to perform in Mumbai. I hope it comes true but unfortunately it’s not true.”

“I am looking forward to perform on this song,” added the actress.

Sunny’s song ‘Laila main Laila’ from the movie ‘Raees’ is a rendition of the popular song ‘Laila o Laila’ from the 1980 film ‘Qurbani’ which had featured veteran actress Zeenat Aman.

‘Raees’, directed by Rahul Dholakia features Nawazuddin Siddiqui and marks the Bollywood debut of Pakistani actress Mahira Khan, apart from Shah Rukh Khan in the titular role.

The movie is slated to release on January 25, 2017 setting a clash with Hrithik Roshan and Yami Gautam starrer ‘Kaabil’.
