Sushant Singh Rajput: There was a lot of negativity, that’s why I got off Twitter

Sushant Singh Rajput is currently riding high on the success of his recent release, ‘M.S. Dhoni- The Untold Story,’ which has garnered a lot of praises for the actor.

Sushant, who is quite composed and does not like to talk about his personal life, has often being targeted for his break-up with Aankita Lokhaande and his alleged relationship with Kriti Sanon. But the actor believes in maintaining his cool and does not get affected by negativity. This is the reason that the actor also got off Twitter while he was shooting for ‘Raabta’ and the news of his link-up with Kriti came to the limelight.

Speaking of why he took the decision on getting off Twitter, he said, “See, I am a very self-obsessed person. So I don’t put pictures for people, I do it for me. Also on Twitter, there are thoughts which I think I want to put so I use it for that. I remember I was shooting for ‘Raabta’ at that time and there was this very important scene coming up and I was getting distracted. Also, there was a lot of negativity so I was like let me complete the sequence first. That’s why I got off Twitter. Nothing else.”

The actor further revealed how his parents were extremely proud of him after watching the movie and were glad he left engineering mid-way to pursue acting.
