Yesterday, we witnessed one of the most riveting trailers, that of a much-awaited film ‘Pink’. Starring Amitabh Bachchan and Taapsee Pannu in lead roles, this film has such intriguing story to narrate that it can keep you hooked to your seats. So, if that’s the effect that the trailer had on us, imagine how challenging it would have been for the stars to perform. Taapsee at the trailer launch of the film said exactly the same. She said that it was a challenging role for her to narrate and she also suffered an emotional breakdown on sets.
She was quoted saying, “It (‘Pink’) was easiest because I belong to this place (Delhi) and difficult because it (subject) was heart-wrenching. The two months that I was shooting for the film I was not doing anything else except this movie. I had a breakdown on the sets as well. I started feeling for my character. It was extremely impactful. It did affect me personally and was very challenging.”
This film which has been produced by Shoojit Sircar will release on September 16, 2016. It would be clashing with Emraan Hashmi’s ‘Raaz Reboot’.
