Rana Daggubati, Taapsee Pannu, Kay Kay Menon and a few more stalwarts have collaborated together to recreate the history in their film called ‘The Ghazi Attack’. The film is about the mysterious sinking of PNS Ghazi submarine during the 1971 war between India and Pakistan.
With the trailers, posters and teasers, ‘The Ghazi Attack’ seems to be one film to look forward to. One, because of its impressive storyline and two, because of the powerful starcast which promises exemplary performances. Further, all the stars have put in their best efforts to make this film look as original as possible. Apparently, they spent 18 days underwater in a submarine without being exposed to sunlight. And that’s one thing that Rana Daggubati has missed the most while shooting.
In his latest Interview, Rana was quoted saying, “At the end of the 18th day, I was gasping for sunlight. When you haven’t felt the sun on your face and you’ve been breathing recycled air for months, getting on the surface of water and on land is like freedom at last! How I missed the beautiful sunlight.” (ALSO READ: Rana Daggubati and Taapsee Pannu-starrer ‘The Ghazi Attack’ gets a U/A certificate)
Kudos to the entire team of ‘The Ghazi Attack’ who managed to bring out the best. ‘The Ghazi Attack’ will make it to the theatres on February 17, 2017. Veteran actor Om Puri who breathed his last recently, will also be seen playing a pivotal role in this film.
