The reason Sonam Kapoor turned down Rs 1.5 crore offer

Bollywood’s fashionista Sonam Kapoor recently turned down a 1.5 crore offer. The actress who was offered the amount for a 20 minute appearance at a Dahi Handi event, turned it down without blinking an eye. The reason behind her no to the event is due to her concern for the lack of safety measures.

Bollywood celebrities are often pursued to make an appearances at the openings and also for festive occasions. They are paid a huge amount for a few seconds appearances too. Sonam Kapoor too is seen at various launches, but she let go of an opportunity to earn high bucks due to her concern for safety measures.

Sources said, “Sonam Kapoor is aware of the numerous accidents that occur during this festival annually. And though she was requested to make appearances at a few pandals across the city — she was even offered Rs 1.5 crore for a 10-minute appearance at one of them — she has turned all of them down.”
