THIS actress will be paired with Ranbir Kapoor in the Sanjay Dutt biopic

Ranbir Kapoor who was recently seen in the flick ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’, is all set to essay Sanjay Dutt in his biopic. Well, this news is certainly known to all by now, but here’s something more on the casting bit. Now, filmmaker Rajkumar Hirani has confirmed that Sonam Kapoor will a part of the movie. So it’s going to be a reunion of sorts, because both Ranbir and Sonam started out in showbiz with Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Saawariya’. The two were never paired opposite each other after that movie, so it’s going to be a nostalgic moment.

It’s being said that Sonam Kapoor will have a special role in the movie, as she will play the role of a woman whom Dutt had dated in the 90s. A source close to a popular daily said, “Her character is not reflective of any particular woman but is a fictional amalgamation of the many women Dutt dated through the 1980s and 90s.”

Ranbir Kapoor will kick-start the shooting for the movie in 2017 and will be sharing screen with his ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’ co-star Anushka Sharma. She will play a journalist in the movie.
