This is how Sonam Kapoor narrowly escaped death once!

Actress Sonam Kapoor is presently occupied with her upcoming release ‘Neerja‘. This Ram Madhvani directorial is a biopic on the brave airhostess Neerja Bhanot, who sacrifised her life while saving lives of passengers on board the hijacked PanAm flight 73. ‘Neerja’ is being considered to be the most crucial character in Sonam Kapoor’s career so far. However, Sonam recently shared a story of her own bravery!

In an interview with DNA, Sonam shared how she and her friend once faced a deadly accident. She was in a car with her friend Kunal when the car abruptly stopped midway. Sonam had strong negative feelings and asked her friend to get off the car immediately.  She herself rushed out of the car but the door on Kunal’s side was jammed. Worse, his side of the car caught fire! Sonam could run away and save herself. But she stayed back, sturggled hard to pull Kunal out of the car and successfully did it. Just a matter of few seconds, and the car blew up.
