Ace fashion designer Manish Malhotra welcomed his 50th birthday this Monday, with a grand bash. Almost all the A-List stars of Bollywood were present at this party, which was hosted by fimmaker Karan Johar. It was attended by a bevy of B-Town celebs, like Shah Rukh Khan, Kareena Kapoor Khan with hubby Saif Ali Khan, Anushka Sharma with Virat Kohli, Tiger Shroff with Disha Patani, Abhishek Bachchan with Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and many others. However, the cameras failed to spot one popular Bollywood actress. It was none other than Deepika Padukone.

We all know, Deepika Padukone is currently busy shooting these days for director Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s upcoming period drama ‘Padmavati’. And it was because of this shoot, which was scheduled in the night on Monday, she had no choice but to skip the party.

Even, Deepika’s alleged boyfriend Ranveer Singh had to miss this party as he had gone to the capital city for the promotions of his this Friday’s release ‘Befikre’.

Though we are certainly disappointed that we missed a glimpse of these two at the party, we think it is great that these two are so dedicated towards their work. What say?
