Vidya Balan, who is all geared to play an intense character in her next ‘Begum Jaan’, also has a light-hearted ‘Tumhari Sulu’ in her kitty.
The movie, directed by Suresh Triveni, will see Vidya play Sulu (Sulochana), a simple, happy-go-lucky housewife, who gets rid of all life’s boredom once she decides to take up the job of a night RJ (Radio Jockey). Producer Tanuj Garg took to Twitter to share the name of the male lead opposite Vidya in the film, and it is actor Manav Kaul.
Known for his manipulative villainous portrayals in films like ‘Kai Po Che!’ and ‘Jai GangaaJal’, Manav Kaul is also a popular theatre actor and a powerhouse of talent.
Soon after ‘Begum Jaan’ releases, Vidya will start with the preparations of ‘Tumhari Sulu’. Speaking of the film’s music, Vidya had said, “I’ve begun to enjoy dancing… it’s fun. ‘Tumhari Sulu’ has a great array of songs and I’m looking forward to the rehearsals.”
‘Tumhari Sulu’ is slated to release on December 1, 2017.
