This Rajinikanth fan spent Rs 1.5 lakh to breathe the same air as him!

Not that we in India are ever short of crazy examples of fandom. Here, fans literally worship their favourite superstars and would go to any extent to show it, whenever given a chance. However, what 40-year-old Sreenivasan Jayaseelan once did, has got our eyes popped!

Rajinikanth was flying to Hong Kong to shoot for his film ‘Lingaa’. Jayaseelan, who would give away anything to get a glimpse of Thalaiva just once, made an unique plan. He booked tickets for himself, his wife and his two children in the same flight!

“Money is nothing in front of my God. We got to breath the same oxygen as our Thalaiva for few hours in the flight. What else do we need,”  he later told India Today. (Also Read: The legendary Rajinikanth intends to join politics… What a news!)

They as well stayed at the same hotel as Rajinikanth and finally managed to meet their god. The superstar was extremely humble and talked to them for twenty-odd minutes.

“He was so humble. He got up from the chair and asked my nine-year-old child to sit. Which star will do this. He spoke to us for twenty minutes. My wife requested him to do his signature style by using her sunglasses and he obliged. It’s locked in our memories now,”  he added. Can you smell the worship in his words too?

Jayaseelan has preserved the sun-glass more carefully than any other asset. They as well collected the eye mask Rajinikanth has used while flying.
