The quiet and calm boy, Tiger Shroff seems to falling off the tangent. He is known for his calm demeanour and diplomatic answers, but a recent statement of his has created a furor. His comment was really sexist and we aren’t quite surprised that it has been blown out of proportion.
In a recent interview with Mumbai Mirror, he was asked to comment on working with new comers in upcoming film ‘Student Of The Year’ to which he said, “When I work with someone who is my junior, I know exactly what the person is going through. I’ve never felt the need to work with established actresses even though I have had the opportunity to work with the beautiful and fantastic Shraddha Kapoor (‘Baaghi’) and Jacqueline Fernandez (‘A Flying Jatt’).”
Till here, it was fine. But what came next out of his mouth was equally shocking and revolting. He further went on to say, “I don’t get involved with the casting at all. I don’t really care about the padding around me. It’s the script and my character that matter.”
Padding, really? That’s how important a female lead is in his films? Padding is generally to make something look better, so going by his statement, females in his film are just to make him look better, and not because they are important! Bad one this time, Tiger!
