Akshay Kumar has some interesting films like ‘Housefull 3’, ‘Rustom’ and ‘Namastey England’ in line for release. And now, he has signed a satirical comedy which has a quirky title. Akki will be seen in a film titled as ‘Toilet – Ek Prem Katha’.
The Neeraj Pandey venture will be a satirical comedy and will showcase the current sanitation and hygiene related issues in our country. The movie will be based on Swacch Bharat Abhiyaan, a cleanliness drive started by our current Prime Minister, Narendra Modi.
While the details about Akshay’s character are kept under wraps, it is said that the movie in a light hearted way, will have a realistic touch.
The film is written Garima and Siddhartha who had earlier written Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Ram Leela’.
‘Toilet – Ek Prem Katha’ is being produced by Abundantia Entertainment and Friday Filmworks.
