Twitter 2016: Shah Rukh Khan takes the lead over Salman Khan as the most talked about celebrity

As per a list given out by Twitter, Shah Rukh Khan is the top celebrity who was discussed the maximum on the social media platform in the year 2016. As per the list, SRK holds almost 36% share of conversations that took place on Twitter in the year 2016. Following him is Salman Khan, who accumulated 18% of share. Of course, the King Khan, who is quite active on Twitter and stays connected with his fans at all times, has emerged as a clear winner in this race. Surprisingly, the third place is held by Varun Dhawan who is the only male star under the age of 30 to grab a position on this list.

Apart from this, Twitter also released the list of Bollywood female celebrities who trended quite often on Twitter. ‘Quantico’ queen Priyanka Chopra holds the top position in the most talked female celebrity in 2016 on Twitter. Priyanka Chopra holds almost 23% share of conversation. Following Priyanka is Alia Bhatt who grabbed 18% share of the conversation that took place over Twitter. Deepika Padukone is on the third position.

In the list of most talked about films of 2016, Salman’s ‘Sultan’ tops the list while Ranbir Kapoor, Anushka Sharma and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’ stood second in the list.
