With her ‘Nepotism’ statement on ‘Koffee With Karan 5’, Kangana Ranaut made everyone’s jaw drop. She called Karan Johar the ‘King of Nepotism’ and then what followed was one intense debate over the subject. Attacks and counter-attacks is what led to a war of words between Kangana and Karan. Many celebrities too got dragged in this war!
Celebrities were asked to share their thoughts over nepotism in Bollywood, and though many of them agreed that it exists in the industry, but not to an extent where talent loses its importance. But Varun Dhawan, who made his Bollywood debut with a Dharma film, has completely different opinion on this.
At the success bash of ‘Badrinath Ki Dulhania’, Varun was to share his thoughts on the same and asked whether he believes that nepotism exists or not in the industry. To this he said that, “I don’t think. I don’t want to talk much about it.”
Huh… So Varun Dhawan apparently thinks that nepotism does not exists in Bollywood. However, he praised Kangana saying, “I like Kangana, her style and more power to her.” (sic)
