Varun Dhawan does not want to work with Rohit Shetty again?

Varun Dhawan teamed with Rohit Shetty to deliver a super hit film ‘Dilwale’ last year. But, even though the film was a huge success, Varun apparently is not happy with the maker. A little birdie tells us that that Varun did not like how he was portrayed as a sidekick to Shah Rukh Khan in ‘Dilwale.’ Well, yes, ‘Dilwale’ was all about Shah Rukh and Kajol, but Varun too received some positive acclaim for his performance. But it seems that some negative feeling has crept into the Junior Dhawan with regards to the director Rohit Shetty and probably that is why he has rejected Mr. Shetty’s ‘Ram Lakhan.’

Yes, rumours are making the rounds that Varun has apparently rejected Rohit’s proposal to play Lakhan in the remake of 1989’s cult film ‘Ram Lakhan.’ ‘Golmaal’ director has taken up the charge to remake Anil Kapoor and Jackie Shroff’s most successful film ‘Ram Lakhan’ for today’s generation. But it seems that the director is getting a tough time to get stars to step into the shoes of Anil Kapoor and Jackie Shroff. Post ‘Dilwale’ Rohit supposedly wanted Varun to be the Lakhan in the film to which Varun has politely rejected. Before Varun, it was Ranveer who opted out of this project.

Oops! Rohit seems to be in a fix. So will he shelve this project or cast a new bird as Ram and Lakhan? God knows!

Talking about Varun, he is currently busy shooting for his upcoming film ‘Dishoom’ in Dubai. The young heartthrob is putting in his best foot forward by grooming himself to be perfect for his role. He would be sharing screen space with none other than John Abraham.
