Varun Dhawan gets emotional as Keenan and Reuben get justice

In the year 2011, young but alert citizens of Mumbai, Keenan Santos and Reuben Fernandes were brutally murdered, when they tried to save their female friends from getting molested by a gang of hooligans outside a restaurant. After years of battle, Keenan and Reuben have finally got justice as the sessions court of Mumbai convicted the four accused and dictated lifetime imprisonment to all four. Delighted with justice being served, Bollywood’s heartthrob Varun Dhawan, tweeted in support of Keenan and Reuben.

He wrote,

All 4 accused pronounced guilty in court,extremely emotional at this moment #justiceforkeenanandreuben#KeenanReuben

Following this, Sonakshi Sinha too stood up in support of Keenan and Reuben. She tweeted,

Justice for #KeenanReuben finally. Its been a long wait…but better late than never. #bravehearts

It’s really great to know that young stars like Varun and Sonakshi are socially aware about such instances which perhaps contradict with the word call ‘Humanity’.
