Varun Dhawan thinks Alia Bhatt will make for a good bahu

This afternoon, at a suburban multiplex in Mumbai, Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt unveiled the trailer of their upcoming release ‘Badrinath Ki Dulhania’. The trailer is a funny one which as well keeps up the lovey dovey mood of ‘Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania’. During the trailer launch event, journalists had an interesting conversation with the two.

It is then that Varun said Alia seemed like a good ‘bahu’ material to him!

“I think Alia will make a good bahu as she is good with parents,” he said. (Also Read: Salman Khan and Varun Dhawan both to have double role in ‘Judwaa 2’?)

Hmm… sounds interesting. The first film had Alia finally turning a bride. We hope this one has a similarly sweet ending as well!

Alia looked gorgeous in a red traditional avatar while Varun nailed it in a white kurta and a Nehru jacket. Producer Karan Johar was also present at the event.

Directed by Shashank Khaitan, ‘Badrinath Ki Dulhania’ is a love story between a boy and a girl from UP who meet at a local village fair. It is slated for a release on March 10, 2017.
