Speaking of the same, Atul Kasbekar of Ellipsis Entertainment says, “This gem of a script will make you cheer and laugh. The character of Sulu is fun, happy-go-lucky but grounded, everything that Vidya is even in real life.” We have already seen the actress play a radio jockey in ‘Lage Raho Munna Bhai’ that featured Sanjay Dutt and Arshad Warsi.
‘Tumhari Sulu’ goes into production in April 2017 and will release by the end of 2017.
Apart from this, Vidya has also wrapped up the shoot of ‘Begum Jaan’, the Hindi adaptation of National Award-winning filmmaker Srijit Mukherji’s Bengali film, ‘Rajkahini’, and will also soon start shooting for the ‘Kamala Das biopic’ which will be directed by Malayalam filmmaker Kamal.
